Almost gave this a 5 star rating, so impressed was I when I went there for a special meal on Friday night with my brother and his wife.
The service was top-notch (our waiter was attentive, informed and very helpful when we were choosing our dishes), the food was delicious (hot and tasty), and we never felt rushed, even when we were last to leave.
Didn't hear any Indian background music, which I like if it is not intrusive, but that is a minor gripe.
This is by far the best Indian in Ledbury, if not the Cotswolds, and I highly recommend that you try it.
Don't be put off by the steamed windows or the possible queue (might help if you book, we did) - it shows that it's well attended. -

The service is often rather slow, but the food more than makes up for it: fantastic quality and a wide variety offered on the menu. It's not cheap, but represents good value when you consider the standard of food offered.

We went there as a Group of six people on a wendsday evening. As we arrived, the Restaurant was freezing cold and we had to leave Our jackets on. Unfortunately, the quality and Taste of the diffrent dishes did Not Mete Our expectations. The chicken was Not done, the mango Lassi was Not freshly mixed, the lentil soup was burned and the vegetable Korma was way to sweet. The chicken Madras was Not spicy enough so we asked for a little more spice. The waiter it brought back and we discovered around 10 little green chilis. It was inedible. We were very disapointet.

This place is so great on so many levels. I was visiting my friends parents who live in ledbury and this is their favorite local Indian restaurant. We had impeccable service and our food was amazing. The owner really has a hand in his business and I saw him stopping by and greeting all the tables in the restaurant. Amazing food and amazing experience.

Great food, attentive service without being intrusive and modern styled restaurant.
A bit more expensive than ordinary restaurants but it is well worth it for a pleasant night out.
I have been going here since it opened a few years ago now and it never fails to deliver.
Book in advance on Fridays and Saturdays because it is usually full.
Or better still, go in the week.
